MU Variant Single-Family Home – Raffaele Ripoli Architect

The project involved the completion of a reinforced concrete structure including the roof of a home. The basic shape with a gable roof continuing the rural tradition of its natural context. The house is located between two roads. The front side crowned by a jagged cornice is characterized by a stone basement and a giant order loggia overlooking the beautiful valley of Savuto and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Inside the loggia is the large stone fireplace. The front entrance is indicated by a hollow vertical cut and the tuff stone wall. The interior has a double volume central space looking over the staircase and the balcony. Materials used: original stone walls and plastered surfaces, gabled roofs with wooden interior structure protected by terra cotta tiles on the outside.
