BC Interior apartment – Raffaele Ripoli Architect

The apartment is on 2 levels. The choice to place the living area on the second level (attic) is dictated by the beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. This floor is characterized by the red volume that encloses the service area (bathroom, kitchen and storage room) and that extends outside between living room and terrace. In the living room a bench lined with stone slabs rests on a wall and extends on the terrace. The first level is the sleeping area which includes a large atrium overlooking the exposed staircase and the studio-library. A distribution corridor leads to bedrooms and bathrooms. The walls plastered with rough sand and red patina, the sand-colored gres floors, the laminated wooden countertops, the large sliding glass window that opens the living room to the landscape, the staircase with iron structure and wooden steps and the essential railings characterize space.
