Bank Interior – Raffaele Ripoli Architect

The purpose of this project is to create a comfortable and familiar workplace, far from what is “typically” the cold interior of a bank with its standard industrial furniture. The furnishings and fixtures in fact were designed along with the architectural plan, i.e. the space in which they are placed. The furniture was built, partly or wholly, in the recesses of the walls and thus perfectly integrated in its context to give a sense of continuity with the existing space or design, creating a sort of continuum of space-masonry walls, furniture, floor, ceiling, openings etc.. Ultimately, it was possible to include in architectural form “special elements” such as the doors and the walls (restrooms and director ‘s office )- the benches for the customers , the counter built into the existing masonry, the upper floor (floating wood floor), the closure laminate wood pillars frame the pre-existing staircase creating a uniform clean look by the choice of material ( cherry wood ) thus “opening” and conveying a dynamic space to the pre-existing space and to the metal and glass box like entrance . All these elements of fixed furniture were custom designed according to executive plan.
