The small shop, located on the ground floor of the nineteenth-century building served as the original Ripoli Bakery bread store and storage area. The plant is a rectangle of about twenty square meters that includes the back-shop used as storage space. Two existing doors connect the store front area with the rest of the bakery. The wooden furnishings were designed to fit the perimeter of the workspace. The inside is designed according to the outside prospect of the building, presenting three superimposed orders: a basement, a functional hollow area (for the bread ) and an architrave. The pillar in front of the building is recalled inside by the furnishings. The entrance to the store is framed by two pilasters. The custom made wooden surfaces were designed to fit the ceiling, the sales-counter and entrance areas. The floor is dark gray plastic and lighting is by spotlights.
